Dickey Boats continues to grow and due to internal movements we are looking for a new Workshop Junior.
This family owned and run business produces very distinctive (and acclaimed) aluminium boats up to 60’. The company has had year on year growth through the recession and is preparing for another strong year.
At the top of the list of requirements for this role are attitudinal qualities which will ensure you fit nicely into the operation: you’ll be someone who is highly self-motivated, energetic, hardworking and very organised. You will need to demonstrate a genuine commitment to continuous improvement of the tasks you are responsible for and your own abilities.
This is a varied role, from sweeping floors to helping out in sea tests, unpacking and sorting equipment, assisting in fabrication, cleaning boats to running errands. The ability to multi task and work through priorities are important skills to have.
For the right person, there is a great role in an industry that has endless opportunities to develop a world class career. Full drivers license is essential and a knowledge of the local area would be advantageous… as would be a passion for boats!
